Help without the runaround

Support

Clear answers about using ColdHello, keeping your data private, and managing Pro.

Getting started

How does an approach work?

Choose who you would like to meet, start the approach, and hand them your phone. They see a neutral question and can answer privately. If they say yes, they enter their own name and number.

Does the person see the app name?

No. The stranger-facing screen never displays ColdHello branding, your dashboard, or your settings. It shows only the neutral interaction.

What happens when someone declines?

The app shows a calm acknowledgement and ends the stranger-facing flow. Back navigation does not reveal your private home screen.

Privacy and contacts

Where are saved contacts kept?

Names and numbers are stored only on your device. ColdHello does not operate servers that receive your contacts, preferences, or approach history.

Will uninstalling remove my contacts?

Yes. Uninstalling permanently removes ColdHello's local data. Save any important numbers to your phone's regular contacts first.

Does the app track me?

No. ColdHello does not use advertising, third-party analytics, or behavioral tracking. Subscription processing is handled separately by Apple or Google using RevenueCat.

Free and Pro

How does the free tier work?

Your first five started approaches per installation are free. An approach counts when you tap START, whether the answer is yes or no. After that, Pro unlocks unlimited approaches.

What does Pro cost?

The exact monthly and annual price, currency, taxes, and availability are shown by the App Store or Google Play before purchase and may vary by region.

My purchase is not showing

Open Settings in the app and choose Restore purchases. Make sure the device uses the same Apple ID or Google account that made the purchase.

How do I cancel?

Manage or cancel your subscription from your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Payments and cancellations are not handled directly inside ColdHello.
